My guess is that Pico’s venting about his trauma in this.

the shooting going on in the background tho
Nene’s face in the thumbnail looks genuinely adorable
My favorite part of this game was when Samurai Asshole cut off Nene's hand before facing her and saying:
"No, Nene. I AM your ancestor."
Truly the most heartbreaking plot twist of all time. I couldn't stop crying since I heard those words. Thank you, Kolumbo, for this masterpiece of a game. I hope S'Asshole returns in Pico 5: The World Explodes And Everyone Dies.
hes gonna be paid dlc!!!
okay this game is actually good
kinda wish it was longer though
thank you!!
I love Nene's mechanic so much; nice reference to her immortality
This gave me an idea: if Nene becomes playable in FNF, this could work as game over music.
"I know you're mad-"
*Nene and Darnell literally exploding*
The comment below gave me an idea...
Since Weekend 1's out and we've been able to see Nene in action, I can't help but wonder if Nene's so merciless in FNF because of PTSD and pent-up frustrations. She was around to witness all the blood and death in Pico's School (plus her own game, but that's another can of worms), not to mention also being in Newgrounds Rumble. With that in mind, on top of her issues, Pico seems to be the only other person who understands her pain, as he's been there with her for both games. Darnell, in contrast, wasn't, hence why he seemed more easier on Pico than Nene. As for why Nene was ready to kill Pico, it's probably because she knew the hit on BF would pay them a lot of money, and she wanted to let Pico know that, once she's got her eyes on something, she's not tearing it away; it's the same reason she decided to square up and learn how to fight for herself in later installments.
TLDR; Nene is a very nasty individual when she feels she's been wronged. Nene is someone who overreacts over the slightest of mistakes. But Nene is still a girl who had to lose innocence. She started out as a helpless girl who was too scared to continue on with life, but later realized she was much more than that. She's a human with plenty of mistakes, and that can be applied to anyone, including ourselves.
hotline miami vibes
love the light outlines
Wait, I think I have an idea for what this is going for. I wonder if the message is that NiGHTS is trying to gain their own identity by rejecting Wizeman trying to force them to be more feminine (in contrast to the masculine Reala), before finally transitioning into the androgynous individual we know. Then again their gender is up to interpretation anyways. Or maybe I'm reading too hard idk (sorry if this sounded weird)
No worries, I got what you meant.
And, yeah! It's in line with what I was going for with the design.
